Dr. Jim was also a great and compassionate doctor and my sincere condolences to the Hiscock family, especially to my doctor, Dr. Sue.

Wanda Smith (DeNeve) posted a condolence
My sympathy is with the entire Hiscock family. Jim delivered me and remained my doctor even after I left the area.. until I could find a doc I trusted as much and could fill his shoes! He was a very hard act to follow. He was someone who always had time to fit you in, so for that I thank his family for sharing his time with me. He was a "small town" doctor that found issues that big city doctors couldn't believe a general practitioner diagnosed. I have thought of him very fondly over the years, and if I was lucky enough to see him when I came home, he always made time to have a chat. Thank you for taking care of me and my family over the years. RIP Doc. Wanda Smith (DeNeve)

Norma and Susan -- Jim's joy in life was obvious to all who knew him, and it was contagious. We were medical students together and (somewhat distant) colleagues for many years. To remember Jim is to instantly smile. Such a kind and happy man! I know I will miss knowing he is just a short drive up the road and enjoying dinner at Woolfy's.
