Since meeting Liz in 1986, we have had the privilege of going to Cedar Terraces and spending time with Nan. We enjoyed playing boules, croquet and badminton with Liz and Nan. As well as singing by the beach campfire. Nan made sure everyone was well taken care of during our stay and would treat us to her cinnamon (toast) fingers for breakfast. We feel so very fortunate to have shared those times with Nan. She will be remembered for her smile and laugh.

I was sorry to not see Mrs Baird this past summer. The times I chatted with her were always enjoyable; she was a warm and inviting lady. There will be an empty space at Cedar Terraces, and in our hearts, without her.

Liz and family. We were saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Being neighbors at Cedar Terraces we saw a lot of her in the summer over the years. She was always smiling and enjoying the tranquility with you and the dogs that you had at any given time. When we had the Labour Day community picnics in the field across from your cottage she always loved to be present. Peggy and your family were /are great neighbors in Bruce County. The photos you have of her life are amazing.
Our sympathies to you and your family and Peggy will be greatly missed.

Liz and family, please accept my most sincere sympathy. Peggy was one of my "favourites", she was always so friendly and kind. I use to get such a kick out of her dogs that were bigger than her! She taught me about the importance of carnations at Mother's Day, I will always remember that. Please keep your heart memories close.

Dear Liz and family. I am thinking of you at this sad time. What a life Peggy had. My favourite stories were of her watching football games in Green Bay. I was lucky to have gotten to know her and to have heard these tales, as well as stories of the cottage and adventures with Great Danes.

Dear Baird family, Bob and Peggy were such good friends to my parents. All the Ainslies knew how very special Peggy was! She was the last in that great group of teachers from St. Marys Collegiate in the 1950s who inaugurated the “new” high school building. Sincere sympathies.
