Saturday nights after doing chores always meant going for a visit and your house was often the destination. I remember him as quiet and soft spoken and a man who loved his horses, the sleigh rides at the Thompson Christmas were enjoyed by all especially the young ones. Dear Anna and Family.....I was so sorry to be reading that Bill has passed...I know my parents thought very highly of Bill and were so grateful for his generous , thoughtful, and easy -going ways...The year...1981... was when my Mother was battling cancer and did succumb to her illness that September 24....Bill brought his team of horses and wagon over that summer so my Mother could have one last wonderful memory of driving a team before she passed...It brought a smile to her face and I am sure it took her back to a time in her childhood that was carefree, stress-free and disease-free...
