Obituary of Alfred Clement Diemert

Alfred “Al” Clement Diemert, of Rannoch, formerly of Cambridge and born in Mildmay, passed away peacefully at Sakura House, Woodstock on October 1, 2019 at the age of 82.Predeceased by the love of his life Audrey Marine (Yensen) 1985.Proud father of Tim of Kitchener, Tammy and Barney Chapin of St. George, Tracy and Steve Durrer of Cambridge, Tony and Corinne of Clarkston, Michigan. Cherished Grandpa of Andrea and Noyes Campbell, Jenny, and Mike of Michigan and Brad, and Leah Durrer of Cambridge. Al will also be missed by his caring neighbours in Rannoch. Alfie enjoyed the simple things in life: grandchildren, picnics, card playing, the beach and travel. He also had a passion for the outdoors and a soft spot for his pets.Cremation to take place with interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.An Open House will take place in the Community Hall at the ST. MARYS PYRAMID RECREATION CENTRE, 317 James St. S, St. Marys on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 2 – 5 p.m.Memorial donations may be made to VON Sakura House Woodstock or Stratford General Hospital Foundation.
