Our condolences to Al's family, We are also Al's neighbours from Rannoch. Al was a kind and friendly man. He always asked about our kids and watched them grow up over the years. It was always a pleasure visiting with Al and Diesel when he was out on the golf cart. He will be missed in Rannoch. Shawn, Bernadette, James and Chantel Johns

Both Anni, myself and family are saddened by the passing of Al! When we moved to the hamlet of Rannoch in 2006, Al took us under his wing and made us feel comfortable with living here. He was always on patrol with his golf card (grandpa's wheelchair) to keep an eye on the neighborhood! He would tell us stories about the history of Rannoch. His two best friends were Roxy (cat) and of course Diesel (dog) who helped him patrol. Our grandkids would always find a way to go over to Al's to play with Diesel.. Al was the best neighbor anyone could ask for and a dear friend of ours. Al, you will be greatly missed, Anni Waldherr and David Lloyd

I am so pleased to have met Alf so many years ago when he first moved to Rannoch. My late husband and I shared a very memorable balloon ride with him and made some beautiful memories to cherish. He was always so kind to me as he made my childhood home his home over the last close to 30 years. He became a very good friend whom I will miss. Unfortunately I have a wedding to attend on Saturday so I will not be able to attend his celebration. Please know that he will always have a tender spot in my heart Sending his family my very deepest sympathy. Rest In Peace my friend. Xo. Linda Mills
