Sending our sincerest sympathy to the nieces and nephews of Verneta. What a true legacy she leaves behind. A very strong independent woman with old school values. I would often see Verneta out and about in recent years with her niece Marlene and we would visit and she would ask about some of the neighbours from the “Baseline” community. Keeping everyone in my thoughts as I’m unable to do so in person at this time. Linda Mills and family.

To the nieces & nephews of Verneta
My condolences to you all .
I will miss Verneta . A wonderful lady !
In past years while walking our dog , I would come across Verneta walking her small dog .
Not actually hers , but she was walking the dog for a lady that was unable to .
Our dog absolutely loved the dog she walked ( same breed as ours ) Maizee made sure
she would meet up if she spotted Benji across the street . Instant tail wags !
Verneta and I would chat for a bit while our dogs did their visit .
I will always treasure those days .
Rest in Heavenly Peace Verneta .
Kind thoughts …
Kathy
