Obituary of Jan Thorup

It is with great sadness that the Thorup family announces the passing of their Dad and Morfar, Farfar, Oldefar,  after a brief illness, passed surrounded by family on April 7, 2024.

Predeceased by his wife Ingelise (Brandt) in 2019. Jan is survived by his daughter Marianne (Doug), son Kenneth (Tanya), grandchildren Ashlee (Matt), Karalee (Joe), Sam (Emma), Abbey, Jack, and Ellen, and great-grandson Kal. He was born in 1937 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Cremation has taken place. As per Jan’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
