To Mary's family I extend sincere condolences. Mary was the most gracious of ladies who touched the lives of many. Visits over the years were enjoyed and usually touched on the family connections through the Mills family.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Marys family. I have great memories of Mrs Tufts as a teacher at South Perth Centennial. She was a very kind and patient teacher. Tobogganing at the Tufts hill in Kirkton was a favourite pass time for many youth. I always enjoyed a chat and visit with her over the years and she always greeted me with a smile. She will be forever remembered.

Aunt Mary & Uncle Ross were true role models for all aunts & uncles. As a kid, I loved to go and visit them in Kirkton. I will always remember going to watch Aunt Mary play fastball on summer nights. She was a true competitor.
Although Janet & I are away for her funeral, she is definitely in our thoughts.
Rest in peace Aunt Mary

Sending condolences to Mary's family. Besides her being a teacher where I attended Public School, her and Ross were part of the Kirkton community. Many memories in my younger years of hours spent tobogganing at the famous Tuft's hill. I was lucky enough to share this hill with my own children. Rest in peace Mary.
Sincerely,
Sonya Fletcher-Hicks

What wonderful memories Aunt Mary has left us with! When her city-slicker nieces and nephews arrived at the farm, she was right there with Uncle Ross, showing us the way. I remember feeding the pigs, helping milk the cows, investigating her garden, going to the store across the highway and sledding down the hill. The best memory was 'corn day', the day we got the call that the sweet corn was ready to be picked. Over the years, she never lost her sense of humor. She loved to laugh and she always enjoyed herself. She was a blessing in our lives, and she will be missed.

We will all miss Aunt Mary, or "Mame"! She had a wonderful sense of humour and an infectious laugh. We have so many memories of times spent at their farm in Kirkton, at family gatherings, shopping with her and her sisters. She will be at peace now, and reunited with Ross and her siblings. She will be missed!!
