Condolences to the Arthur family. I remember Mary growing up, and she was a good friend to Mom when Mom was a resident at Kingsway. Then I was fortunate to meet up with Mary once again at Wildwood Care Centre when I was accompanying nursing students there. Mary welcomed students to aid and learn from her care.

I also first met Mary when she volunteered at the Bonnie Brae and enjoyed conversations with her there, in St. Marys when she was out and about, and eventually at Wildwood. She certainly had a compassionate spirit as well as a generous one. Mary was always interested in people and their stories and she loved sharing stories of her family. I shall miss my chats with her~ Sincere condolences to her family.

My deepest sympathy to the Arthur Family,
Mary was a big part of the Switzer Family for five years.
She spent nearly every week day afternoon with Jerry.
She was very good with Jerry and they had some Great Conversations.
I felt very comfortable leaving Jerry in Mary’s care.
He was not an easy person to look after as he had a horrific brain injury due to the tractor accident.
May you rest in peace Mary!
Sincerely Noreen Switzer and Family!

My sincere sympathy to Mary’s family on her passing. I met Mary while singing in our church choir. She loved to sing and always took a keen interest in everyone. She loved to tell me stories of when she worked with my Aunt at Alma College in St. Thomas. Heaven has definitely gained a compassionate angel.

So sorry and shocked to hear of Mary's passing. We both grew up in the Brown's Corners area and both our families knew each other well as neighbours in the country always do. I sang with Mary in the St. Marys Presbyterian choir and she was a kind gentle soul My sincere condolences to all her family. Sincerely Paula McMurray-Hoare

Thank you Mary for enriching my life with your optimism and cheerful outlook. Canada Day at Cadzow Park was not complete for me until I heard "Oh Canada" sung with gusto and pride by my friend Mary. We have lost a unique and blessed child of God. You will be missed my friend.

Sorry to hear about Mary. I used to sing with her in the church choir and the Stonetown Entertainers. She was always smiling and loved to sing and getting out in nature (camp Kintail was a favorite). She told me several times that she loved dandelions and loved getting dandelion bouquets from "her children". Many happy memories to keep of Mary.
