Condolences to the family! I am very sorry for your loss! Jason was a good friend of mine growing up and I will always regret not knowing him as the man and father and husband you all had the privilege to know.
Spent many a day at his house in st Catharines, listening to music, playing with cap guns and fireworks in his garage, swimming at his grandma's place and just being kids. Wouldn't trade those memories for anything!
He was a great person and I am sure I will continue to think about him often with a smile on my face.
See you on the other side brother!
Kyle kuzyk and family!

I am deeply saddened and terribly sorry to Jay's family for their loss. He was an incredibly special man to work with. He entered every patients room with a joke and a smile and had incredible skill as a lab technician. Jay had a gift at making everyone feel special. I will never forget how thoughtful and caring he was. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to the Hammond family. Jay was a wonderful man who I know will be missed by so many. His constant smile and positive attitude elevated any room he was in and the Stratford emergency department will never be quite the same without him. Despite his medical issues, he was a beacon of hope and never once complained about the hand he had been dealt. We all admired him and his wonderful presence will be missed.

There's nothing I can say that Jay's family doesn't already know. A kind man who made my early days in emerg so much more bearable. He went out of his way to be kind and friendly to me and I never forgot it. He got dealt a bad hand in life but his outlook and attitude are a huge inspiration. Our hospital is forever changed for having had him here. I will miss you Jay!

My heart aches for you, Chantale, Lee, Devin and Brandon. I have so many happy memories of Jason from the time he came in to our extended family through his marriage to Chantale and the birth of the boys. I know he had a rough go throughout is life but don't have any memory of him complaining and being unhappy with the world. Always that super nice smile greeted us when we would see him. I can only imagine how saddened you all are but hope you hang on to those precious memories . God Bless you All.

I did my 6 week clinical at the hospital Jay worked at, and not a day went by without Jay checking in on me, making me laugh and being a shoulder to lean on. He took me to the places in the hospital I’ve never seen, made sure I experienced and felt good about everything, including death. He was an amazing man, and talked about his boys every step of the way. Thinking of his family and friends! See you again Jay!
