In 1960 My family moved into the house across the street from the Feeney"s
We stayed there for five years, until we bought a farm. My Husband Jerry Switzer with the help of several neighbours made an outdoor skating rink in our backyard. So Much Fun! The kids loved it and were very willing to help. Flooding late at night!
Lorraine was very busy with her family but we did get to visit now and then.I am sending deepest sympathy to all the Feeney Family!
Sincerely Noreen Switzer.

Remembering her warm welcoming smile, a cup of fresh brewed tea, her love of African violets. She always went along with her kids shenanigans. May she be playing cards and dancing with Leonard in heaven, with Mike by her side.

The memories that sticks out most in my mind are of going to early morning garage sales with Grandma and letting us buy what ever toys we wanted. My love of tea came from grandma letting me put lots of sugar cubes and milk in my tea. I also remember eating the apple peel curls as she peeled to make apple pies. She was a great woman and will be missed.

Grandma was one of the kindest people I have ever had the joy of knowing. Whenever you needed to be spoiled or get into trouble, Grandma was there. She would always give you more pop than she was supposed to or more cookies than Mom & Dad said you could have, You could stay up late and eat junk food and she never said a word. She was a safe haven when ever you needed it. She loved unconditionally and endlessly. She loved her family above all else. Watching her light up when seeing my own children is one of the greatest joys of my life and I cannot put into words how happy it made me to see her so happy. Watching her try to sneak candy into their pockets when she thought nobody else was looking made me about as joy filled as a person can be.
I'm filled with a lifetime worth of memories about this amazing woman that brings me comfort during this difficult time.
She would want us to come together and share stories and be happy together.
I love you grandma,
Chris
