So sorry to read of Ruth’s passing. I am not sure our paths crossed as teens but I suspect it was when I was on holidays at my Aunt Muriel Sheldon’s place. Although we didn’t see each other often Ruth always had time for a friendly greeting. The world has lost another kind soul.

I'm so sorry to hear this, what a beautiful and true memorial. I came to know Ruth quite well through the taxi service and then as her gardener/housekeeper, We had many good chats, and she was always asking after my family, and had good advice to offer.Ruth didn't judge and always accepted you for who you were. I will miss working for her, but mostly I will miss our friendship!
