Obituary of James Michael Trainor

James Michael Trainor, known as “Mike” by all his friends, passed away peacefully at Kingsway Lodge on September 11, 2023 at the age of 79.

Mike moved to Canada from England in 1967 and worked for many years in Stratford as a furniture maker, a photographer for the Beacon Herald, and later as valued employee of the Aarden Park Hotel. Around 2010, Mike retired to Church St. in St. Marys where he was known in the neighbourhood for his cheerful disposition, his British wit and his love of cats.

Mike will be dearly missed by his friends Dave and Darlene, special friends from Kingsway Lodge, the Cadzow Park neighbourhood, and co-workers and friends from his many years in Stratford.

Many thanks to the caring staff and residents at Kingsway Lodge where Mike enjoyed the past year.
