I had the pleasure of knowing Judy for over 17 years. Judy was kind, caring, loving, intelligent, and an incredibly hard worker. At Ryder, it didn’t take long for me to discover that Judy knew just about everything, and in the odd case she did not know the answer she always knew the name of the person who did. Judy was one of my work mentors and through this mentorship we formed a wonderful friendship, and she became my ‘work mom’. We often ate lunch together and Judy would share stories about her childhood, her travels with Robert and how much she adored Tonia.
Over the past couple of years, Judy and I continued conversing primarily through texts. We messaged each other on the Saturday before she passed away. During this conversation Judy shared with me how grateful she was for the support of her husband Robert, and her friends and family that took the time to check in on her.
I will forever be grateful for the love and friendship Judy, and I shared.
Robert, Tonia, and Alex you have been, and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

First let me give my sincere condolences to Robert, Tonia Alex and all of Judy’s family and friends. I have been with Ryder 35 years last February and have known Judy from day 1 she always asked how I was and was a true inspiration, mentor and more importantly friend. She wasn’t one for showing off or using her tenure she more than I could count helped me get through the many challenges and changes through the years. I am so grateful to her and we texted 2 weeks before she passed and she was always asking me how I was feeling. She was a great person whom I will miss Thank you JT I hope to see you again one day You are and were the best Thank you Sincerely Ken

Something I'd like to impress upon others is to take pictures and make albums for those pictures. Make prints and write the date on the back or boarder it become so important when you need them years into life, As both Tonia and I have said Judy was not one to pose for the camera and we only have a scant few. This is a sweet picture I know it was on film but to find the negative now would be a quest of many hours. Digital files are I hate to admit better as each file has a number AND there are NEW actual file systems to assist in keeping everything organized.

I had the pleasure of working with Judy for over 40 years. Over those many years she was a great mentor and friend. There were so many changes to her job and responsibilities. She embraced the challenges and excelled in whatever task she was given. She was the “go-to” person because of her vast knowledge and experience. She was one of a kind and will be missed by all.
We shared many family milestones over the years. She was always interested in the different stages of my children’s lives. I enjoyed listening to her stories. She was very proud of her family and loved them very much.
I know that she was a great friend to many of our co-workers and was always interested in their careers and families.
My deepest sympathy to Robert, Tonia, Alex and family.

Where does one start. Judy was far more then an aunt to me. My earliest memories of visiting the farm and hanging out with her. Playing Barbies and climbing hay bales. In my teens we shared a room off and on while she earned enough money for her first car and then winter when it was to dangerous to go home to the farm after dark. We became close as sisters as we squabbled over sides of the room all winter. I remember when she started dating Bob, and tagging along on a few dates.
I stood up with her at her wedding, and she was my matron of honour. We were pregnant at the same time. I miss you so much

A special treat, while searching for our wedding certificate I've found everything but. That said I just have to share these RARE images of Judy and I on our special day. I had problems making these image but managed between the tears some-how. Judy was a beautiful bride she looked like a Victorian Queen. P.S. I wasn't so bad looking myself (cough, cough)

I had the pleasure of meeting Judy when I started at Ryder in August 1992. Her vast knowledge helped my career beyond measure - if you didn’t know something, the standard answer was, “Ask Judy. She’ll know.” She was always so generous with her time and her expertise.
What started as a professional relationship blossomed into friendship - she was an amazing listener, trusted confidante, and wise advisor. And her laugh! I loved to make her laugh, just to hear it.
My deepest condolences to her family - she was a diamond among gems, and I am so fortunate to have known her.
I miss you, my dear, dear friend.

Mum sending me a selfie after a long needed haircut. As Dad said, she didn't like photos of herself taken, so we don't have a lot. But I love her smile in this one! My lifelong friend, Erin, always made Mum feel so special and cared for when she got her hair done.
It's been a difficult couple of days, Mum. We love you and miss you a whole lot.

Judy and I worked together on and off for many years at Ryder. We became good friends and somewhere along the way nicknamed each other. I was dude and she then became dudette, which is how we emailed each other. After I retired we kept in touch, emailing at least 2-3 time a year just to check in. She was wonderful to work with and we shared a lot of laughs and could talk about our work frustrations when they arose.
My condolences to family and friends. She was one of a kind and will be missed.

Now these two images are amazing, to accomplish 45 years working for the same company is a true accomplishment. Judy held many positions within Ryder Trucks and touched many people on a business and personal level. I'm so privileged to have had such a wonderful wife, my soul mate and best navigator ever. I will carry you in my heart till we meet again.

I had the pleasure to work with Judy at Ryder Truck Rental for over 20 years. Although we never met in person we had many great conversations and laughs. She was the FMS financial guru and assisted many; a very dedicated employee.
Deepest condolences to the family. May the wonderful memories you hold near, bring peace to your hearts.
Into the heavens, but forever in your hearts.
