Obituary of Marian Kathleen Jaques

Marian Kathleen Jaques passed away peacefully at the Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on August 1, 2023 at the age of 94 years.  Marian was born in Usborne Twp, a daughter of the late Carrie (Thomson) and the late Arlow Copeland.  Predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd Jaques (1983) and 2^nd husband Don Maguire (2019).

Beloved mother of Dan Jaques of Renfrew, Deborah Ford (Ron) of St. Marys, Nancy Hudson of Windsor, Suzanne Matheson (Steve) of Devon, AB, and Barbara Jaques of Napanee.  Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. 

Marian was predeceased by her son-in-law Charlie Webb, Mike Bedard and sister Loreen Hodgson.

Throughout her life, Marian was an active and appreciated member of the Kirkton-Woodham community.  She held the position of Blanshard Township Clerk Treasurer for several years.  Upon retirement Marian was a dedicated volunteer in various capacities.  Her family would like to thank Wildwood Care Centre for their compassionate professional care.

Visitation at Grace Community Church, 16 Hillside Ct. St. Marys, on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington Street, S. St. Marys  on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 1 p.m.  Pastor David Horne officiating.  Interment to follow in Kirkton Union Cemetery, Kirkton.
