Obituary of Bruce Gerald Jones

Bruce Gerald Jones, resident of St. Marys and formerly of Thorndale, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on January 18, 2023 at the age of 67.

Husband of Maxine Jones (McCorquodale), together 24 years. Brother of Ronald Jones (Shelley and first wife Anna, deceased), Murray Jones (Bonnie), Ruth Harlton (Murray, deceased), Linda Gregory (John), Janet Thomson (Cecil). Brother-in-law of Larry McCorquodale, Dennis McCorquodale (Reta), Byron McCorquodale (Dawn). Bruce will be especially missed by uncle Warren Stacpoole (Marion Gallinger, deceased). He will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family members and special canine friend Toby.

Predeceased by parents Mervin and Bernice Jones (Irwin) and parents-in-law Grant and Blanche McCorquodale (Gallinger). Brother-in-law George McCorquodale and sister-in-law Marlene McCorquodale. Family and friends are invited to the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. S. St. Marys, on Tuesday, Jan 24, 2023 for visiting from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Spring burial in Robins Hill Cemetery.
