Obituary of Dorothy Irene Fenz

Dorothy Irene “Dot” Fenz (nee Irvine) passed away peacefully with family at her side on December 23, 2022 at the age of 83.

Mother of Sue (Steve) Hicks, Rick (Heather) Fenz, and Steve (Treacy) Fenz. Grandmother of Jesse, Kory, Kelsee, Jordan and Cassie. Great-Grandmother of Ella. Sister of Marg Bradley. Also remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by her brother, Bill Irvine. Dot was a volunteer driver for the St. Marys Friendship Centre and Meals on Wheels and a member of IODE. Always active in the community and always wanting to help those in need. Thank you to the staff at Kingsway Lodge and St. Marys Memorial Hospital for taking care of mom.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys, on January 7, 2023 at 1 pm. Following the service there will an open house reception at the funeral home from 1:30 to 3 pm.

Spring interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Kirkton.
