Dave, a special cousin. He always was so enthusiastic about whatever endeavour my family was trying out. His warm smile, interest in our lives, and kindness will not be forgotten. I recall one time my husband and I were on a bike tour thorough Alberta. During a phone conversation weeks before Dave casually asked our route and then wished us luck before saying goodbye. Who shows up a few day later? Beeping, waving, and urging us on? Dave. He had taken our route backwards with the goal of finding us, just to spend an hour for a long overdue visit. When I think of Dave, I always remember the good times we had in my youth growing up in St. Marys. Dave always had that great infectious smile that put everyone at ease. It was a honour to call him my friend. My condolences to brother Doug and his mother Joan.
