I send my deepest condolences to the Cordina family. I will always remember Martin for his kindness and cheerful nature. He was truly a parishioner who lived the vocation of peace, charity and love for all. May he rest in peace.

I have the pleasure of mowing the lawn at the Cordina property for the last 3 or 4 years.(and other odd jobs) I first met Martin when he asked me to cut grass once, as his regular guy hadn’t show up. After that there was no looking back. Martin would come out almost every week to see how things were going with me, and never complain about his own ailments. He would always tell me about his upcoming treatments and not bat an eye. He loved my T-shirt I would wear that clearly said “F*CK CANCER” on it. (Been there, done that, got the T-shirt) He will be sadly missed. Laura and I send our condolences Carolyn, to you and your family.

Carolyn, we are so sad and shocked by the news of Martin’s passing. We are sending much love and thoughts to you and your beautiful family.
Martin was one of the good ones.
Family always came first. The generosity and love you both have shown us has never been forgotten.
I am so thankful for the short time we recently had together…but time sadly also steals loved ones from us too early.
❤️I will miss you brother. Please hug mom and dad when you get home ❤️
Love Janice and family.

Sincere condolences to one and all. Martin and myself were on the parish advisory board at Holy Name. He was most supportive of all projects at the church and a devout man of faith. May he rest in peace. Prayers to his family.
Sincerely Joan Hahn

I'm so grateful to have had the chance to reconnect with you after all this time. We were robbed of each other and of our families.
Whats in the past is done, but I have a small sense of closure now that you were always in my corner, even after all those years.
I'll always remember you for the fun times we had, 15 yr old me giving you hockey picks for Proline, rides on your Ducati, and the memories from when I was young.
Carolyn and family, we are so sorry for your loss.
Rest is peace Uncle Metz,
I love you.
Tony, and Family.

My favorite Memory of Martin was when he was mistaken for a Mexican in Mexico! He was leaning against the wall waiting for Carolyn! A man was asking for directions! After asking several times he said I’ll ask him (Martin) Martin shrugged his shoulders, the guy said “ he doesn’t speak English either”!. That got him arrested for Our Mexican Fiesta Days in our park! Still makes me laugh! Am sure going to miss you Martin! Our Deepest Sympathy to You Carolyn and Family! Hugs, Love, & Prayers!
