Ethel was always keen to attend the Friends at Worship program at Wildwood Care Centre on Tuesdays, and even more keen to contribute her theology. Prayer was big for Ethel; she believed it to be the approach and the answer to every circumstance. She will be missed in our Tuesday morning circle~

Rev. Dr. Mark G. McKim posted a condolence
On behalf of her church family at First Baptist Church of St. Marys, I extend condolences to friends and family. Ethel was a long-time member of this congregation - something she frequently reminded me of when I saw her at Wildwood! Despite her confusion at times, she never seemed in the least confused about her love for Jesus, and now, she has met him face to face!

Ethel was a grand old soul. We will miss her when we go and visit Wildwood. We were last there visiting and doing a small hymn sing and gospel message on November 4, 2019. Ethel knew every hymn off by heart and would sing away enjoying every one. Ethel told us that night "Jesus died for me"! She was ready to go when He called her home to Glory! She told us she was "saved" in her early teenage years and that she was baptized in a gravel pit at age 21. Ethel is now singing with her Lord in heaven. Our condolences go out to her family. With sincerest sympathies John and Sharon Hackett
