Obituary of Audrey Somers

Audrey Gladys Maxine Somers passed peacefully away at her residence in St. Marys on March 27, 2019 at the age of 88.Predeceased by her husband Donald (2002). Loving mother of Robert Somers and Kathy Fehr of Guelph, and Donna Marshall, St. Marys. Dear grandmother of Jennifer White and Kyle, Amanda White and Chris, Stephen Fewster Jr., Josh Somers and Jenn, Justin Somers and Olinka, Sabrina Billing and Gary, Greg Marshall and Marci. Great-grandmother of Natalie, Jillian, Marissa, Bentley, Hudson, Spenser, Kynleigh, Hendrix, Jaxon. Micheal, Devin, Jared, Nathan, Paige, and Blaire. Also survived by nephews Scott Riddell (Kerri), and Steve Riddell, Chris Riddell and Janet and niece Helen Hartwick and remembered by several extended family members. Predeceased by her parents William Riddell and Rowena Shoebottom, daughter Ruth White, and daughter-in-law Sharon Somers, sisters Sadie, Ola, Ina, Dorothy and brothers Alex and Robert, sister-in-law Lynn Riddell and granddaughter Amy.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. South St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Friday, March 29, from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 30, at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Doug Loucks officiating. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Health Care Foundation or the Perth-Huron Alzheimer’s Society
