John R. Shank passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on August 4, 2017 at the age of 81.Husband of Alice Shank (Gibbons). Father of Terry Shank-Franchino (Albert), and Jay Shank (Cheryl). Grandfather of Josh Fanchino. Brother of Nancy Ewen, Louisa Bradley (Ian), Suzanne Schafheitlin and predeceased by sister Alice Jones and brother Don Shank.Cremation has taken place.An Open House Celebration of Life will take place at the St. Marys Legion, 66 Church St. N. St. Marys, on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 from 2 - 5 p.m.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation.
