Don & Margaret Watt posted a condolence
Sincere sympathy to the Cubberley family and Jim. You have lost the matriarch of your family, but she has left many memories for you to cherish. She was a caring sister-in-law to me. and when Margaret and I were married, Alice and her sisters were there to welcome her into their family, which meant a lot to both of us. The Celebration of Life/Jamboree which she and Jim had planned was well attended. A tribute to her and how much she was thought of. RIP Alice. Don & Margaret Watt

How sad we feel as you try to endure your profound loss. It’s hard to watch those we care about struggle with their health. One thing that really helps is a promise in the bible, at Isaiah 33:24, where it says that soon there will come a time when no one living on this earth will say “I am sick” ever again. It’s what keeps us going personally, as we too, have lost friends & relatives. An unending, happy life in the paradise earth promised in Luke 23:43 will be a place and time where those we’ve lost will be brought back to life, healthy and happy once again. We hope this sure promise keep you going too. Take good care

Bill & Joan Osborne posted a condolence
To Alice's Family & Jim We were unable to attend the celebration of life on Sept 18 and were sorry to have missed it but live in Orillia. We had hoped to see both her & Jim on our way Oct 23rd but will be in touch with Jim. Alice was such a great person and we had the pleasure of staying at her place a few years back having a wonderful time and playing lots of Bid Euchre. We also had many good times when they were in Fla. She was such a great person but she is at peace now. Thinking of her family and know how wonderful they were to her. Most sincerely, Joan & Bill Osborne

I am so sorry I was unable to attend Alice's Celebration of Life. She and her family certainly had a tremendous amount to celebrate. She was a wonderful person to talk to, Kind, Caring, and Gracious. She always had a hug for you when she saw you, and made everyone she met feel special and loved. She was definitely an Angel here on earth. My condolences to all her family. She will be missed. R.I.P. Alice. Brenda(Knowles) Alderson
