Obituary of Eleanor Ruth Ball

Eleanor Ruth Ball passed away peacefully at her home in Zorra Township with her family at her side on June 3, 2020 in her 84th year.Beloved wife of 47 years to the late Stuart Ball (2006). Loving mother of Mark and Carol Ball of Zorra Twp., Scott and Janice Ball of Texas, and Roger and Dr. Leanne Ball of Zorra Twp. Proud grandmother of Dr. Laura Ball (Joshua Wiener), Jeff Ball (Rebecca), Evan and Jessica Ball, Alton and Arthur Douglas, and Estelle Ball. Dear sister to Ida Anne Harris of St Marys, Gertrude Willis of Kirkton, Jane Miller (Wallace) of Embro, David Packham (Nancy) of Stratford. Dear sister-in-law to Verna Lupton of Stratford. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Ruth Packham, her father- and mother-in-law Adrian and Estella Ball, her brothers- and sisters-in-law Bob Harris, Marwood Willis, Willis and Florence Ball, Bruce and Gladys Ball, and Bruce Lupton.Eleanor enjoyed the many friends she made while nursing and as a member of the Lakeside Women’s Institute. She took great pleasure in the many years of dairy and cash crop farming in Zorra Township.Cremation has taken place.
