Carla was a long-time friend and will be greatly missed.She enjoyed visits with my pet companion(dog) Beau.He will miss her treats!(she always had something for him in her fridge).Carla recounted interesting stories,especially during her youth in wartime Germany.She made wonderful homemade German potato pancakes and German potato salad.She was always the hairdresser-she let me know if my hair needed trimming!She also insisted on putting the curlers in my hair for ringlets for my sister's 25th wedding anniversary celebration(theme was Civil War Era).Carla and I enjoyed celebrating our birthdays together (6 days apart)-dining out at Woolfy's was her favourite due to the food,ambience and excellent service.(Thank you to Chris and Mary Woolf.)Carla always loved the outings we had for the "International Lunch Bunch"-a group that met at a different restaurant once a month.She was recently reminiscing about it!Carla was a kind,loving ,and thoughtful person .She will be greatly missed.
