Dorothy Louise Diehl (Melville) slept peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys on April 1, 2019 in her 87th year.Mother of Susan Marwick (Dave) of Victoria B.C., Marcella Cahill (Larry) of Stratford, Vicky Diehl of London, Danny Diehl of Vancouver B.C., Kelly Diehl of New Dundee and the late Jeanne Bryans (Gary deceased). Grandmother of Tamara, Gary Jr., Tara, Stacey, Jeremy, Gregory, Cory, Chad, Casey, Catherine, Kimberly, Diana, Melissa and Tara. Great-grandmother of Joel, Jeremy Jr., Brandon, Nathan, Joshua, Leah, Emmalee, Jacob, Abigayle, Savannah, Olivia, Easton, Aria, Silas, Jonathon, Alyssa ,Brianna, Elizabeth, Liam, Lachlan, Tony and Nik. Also remembered by Bert Diehl (Sandy). Sister of Larry Melville (Sharon), Sharon Barnes (Frank), Jackie Iredale (Norman, deceased) and predeceased by her parents Maxwell Melville and Dorothy Blanchard and siblings Bill, Max (Ruth), Joan Martin (Art deceased), Ricky and Sandra in infancy and long-time partner John “Lefty” Noble.Family and friends are invited to the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 with visiting from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
