Obituary of Sherry Lynn Ford

Sherry Lynn Ford (Cooper) passed away, surrounded by family, at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on May 13, 2018 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer.Beloved wife of David Ford whom she married on July 30, 1982. Survived by her son David and his wife Claire and their children Isis and Orion, and son Jeffery. Sister of Doug and Dorothy, Kevin, Karen and Lawrence Brewer. Sister-in-law of Elizabeth and Rob Prest, Paul and Marion, and Scott and Linda. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and sadly missed by many close friends.Predeceased by her parents Roy and Glenna Cooper, her birth mother Blanche Lingard, parents-in-law David and Donna Ford. Sherry was a 36 year employee of Maple Leaf Foods, and known for her love of sports including baseball, golf and curling.Her family would like to sincerely thank the nurses, staff and Dr. Tanya Thornton at St. Marys Memorial Hospital.Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A private family interment will take place at St. Marys Cemetery.Memorial donations to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
