Dave Hughes posted a condolence
My sincere condolences go out to you, Karen and all the Swan family. A couple of years ago in London I was at a AA meeting in London talking about I was tired of everything with AA. Jim after the meeting pulled me aside and he said I was like that years ago. it's called complacent, not a good place for us to be in. He said I started going to other meetings and soon I got out of that. So I did what he told me too. I thank him so much for that talk we had that night and all the other talks. He was a great man and now is running the meetings in heaven. Rest in peace Jim

Kathy B My sincere condolences go out to you, Karen and all the Swan family. Jim was a very special man who shared his friendship, "experience, strength and hope with me and many others, as well as many laughs and lots of coffee! I am forever grateful for his patience and selflessness. Because of his sharing and caring, I have been sober for over 32 years and for this I am indebted to him. I believe the words of Alabama's song a fitting tribute to him. "I believe there are angels among us, sent from heaven to guide us on our way. They come to you and me in our darkest moments, to show us how to live, teach us how to give, guide us with the light of love" Thank you Jim, you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace and keep "jamming" with the angels.
