I was very saddened to learn of John’s passing....he was my first cousin. I last saw him in hospital, just before the first lockdown of the pandemic. I was so impressed by his good spirits and how much he enjoyed his CBC programming......his almost constant companion. I recall the times I visited John and Lillian at their house....and when they visited me......I have very pleasant memories of those times that we spent together. I extend my sympathies to Jeff and Rhonda, Michele and Darrell, and grandchildren Zoe and Harley. John will be sadly missed by many, both family and friends. It is always difficult to lose a parent, and a grandparent, and I send my love and blessings to all of you at this difficult time.

Sorry to see of Johns passing im sure you guys will miss him. We have many happy memories that we spent with both John and Lil for many years. Thinking of you during this time Jeff, Michele, and your families. As a high school friend of Jeff's I have a lot of good memories visiting your parents in my teen years. They were always so welcoming and we could stop in any time, and just chat about anything over a beer or Johns famous SWISH from the barrel. John loved to talk about his hunting or fishing, but he was also always interested in whats happening on our farm as well. In the later years I would stop by for a quick hi as I'm driving by, for you would often find John and Lillian sitting out front of their car garage enjoying the late afternoon sun. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace
