Obituary of Leon Coward

Leon Coward passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 5, 2020 at the age of 74.Predeceased by his wife Bonnie Coward (Armstrong, 2007) and parents Thomas and Leola (Glanville), brothers Alvin Coward, Terry Clayburn, and sister-in-law Pam Armstrong.Survived by his daughters Laurie Coward-Hanson (Bill) Tamie Robertson-Coward (Stacey), Amie Shackleton (Derek). Grandchildren Liam (Paul), Hayden, and Kenzie. Siblings Dave Coward (Kathy), Eric Clayburn (Colleen), and Pat Plain and brothers-in-law Barrie Armstrong (Wendy), Karl Armstrong (Nancy) and Kellie Wicke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Leon will also be missed by good friends Ron Brant (Tracy), and Donna Heard.Leon’s family wish to sincerely thank his doctor Micheal Trevail for his wonderful care.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S., St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 1 – 4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. S., St. Marys, on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
