Michael Thompson posted a condolence
Judy, Jim, Carolyn, Christine and Jeff and families - I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I remember him as a kind and welcoming man and your mother as well. I was remembering of when I tagged along with your family to Lincoln games at the old arena on Friday nights - more years ago than any of us care to think of. I wish you all peace in a challenging time. Michael Thompson

Dear Judy and Murray: Please accept my sympathy on the death of your father, Ken Cole. He was a quiet gentleman whom I got to know when he first moved to KIngsway. We had several short visits when I visited him and his roommate. He tried to have patience and cheerfulness even when he was feeling ill, and he always thanked me for coming to visit. I shall remember him and keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Shirley Ann

Ken was a great guy. I worked at Hutton Transport when Ken worked there and everyone called him "the king of the north" as he took alot of the northern runs and was certainly considered one of Hutton's most respected drivers. He actually lived on the next farm to me when I was a little girl living down the 8th concession of East Nissouri. He lived a good life and also was so friendly whenever he and I met. Sending sincere sympathy to all of you. Paula McMurray-Hoare

My sincere condolences to Ken's family. I had the pleasure of working at Hutton Transport at the same time as Ken. He worked with such professionalism and dedication to the job. I had the privilege of hitching a ride with Ken one day on a trip down from Sault Ste Marie. As I looked back on that trip years later I appreciated the fact that I got more of an education on the transport industry that day than some get in a lifetime. I am certain that many of the lives that he touched will be enjoying fond memories today.

We will miss our visits and enjoyable conversations we've had with Ken over the years. It was always a pleasure to see him and listen to the many stories he had to share; many during his years with Hutton's. His interest in the airplane museum at Mount Hope was also an interesting topic. He was never short of events from his past to share and never without a few laughs. He was very dear to our hearts and will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Our thoughts are with the family at this time. Nick and Marilyn Lowe

Remembering the kind and youthful person Ken was. Sending our condolences to his loved family members. I especially think of Judy as we schooled and chummed together and so often was treated to Ken's sense of humour.
