Ronald Edwin Shamblaw, in his 78th year, passed away peacefully in his home in Kirkton surrounded by his family on March 7, 2017.Beloved husband of the late Eva Shamblaw (Bendall). Loving father of David (Noe) Shamblaw, Joanne Campbell, Lynda Shamblaw (David), Larry (the late Sharon) Shamblaw, and Devon (Jennifer) Shamblaw. Grandfather of Amanda (Mike), Brandon (Samantha), Morgan, Alex (Kassidy), Isaac (Reid), Logan, Emily, and Olivia. Brother of Helen (Bill) Pringle, and Brother-in-Law of Bob (Betty) Bendall, Norma Hansen (Paul), and Helen Bendall. Predeceased by his grandson Adam Campbell, parents David and Mary Shamblaw, parents-in-law James and Marian Bendall, brother-in-law Jim Bendall, and sister-in-law Marion Bendall.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Friday, March 10, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, March 11, at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.Memorial donations may be made to Southwest CCAC Huron Perth.
