Obituary of Dixie Lane Manners

Dixie Lane Manners passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on October 16, 2020 at the age of 83.Beloved wife of Ian A. Manners, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in May 2020. Loving mother of Paul and Brenda Manners of Kirkton, Nancy Lane and John Weessies, David and Karen Manners, and Stephen Manners all of St. Marys. Proud grandmother of Jonathan (Molly) and Matthew. Great-grandmother of William Weessies Dear sister of Dave Burgess and Diane (deceased) of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Nancy Lee and Jack Connell (deceased) of Kincardine, Linda and Thom Armstrong of Markdale. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and predeceased by her parents W. Macklin Burgess and Mary Elizabeth Ney.At Dixie’s request, cremation has taken place with no funeral service.In her memory, donations may be made to the St. Marys Healthcare Foundation.
