Obituary of Peter McGrigor Mitchell

Peter McGrigor Mitchell, born on October 15, 1943, passed away with his family by his side at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on January 25, 2019 at the age of 75.Survived by his wife of 51 years Teresa (Teahen) sons Dan and wife Mary Lou of St. Marys, Scott, and David, both of Vancouver, B.C. Grandfather of Arly and Jaci, who were the light of his life. Brother of Louise Mitchell of St. Marys.Predeceased by his parents Louis Sparling Mitchell (1982) and Jessie Louise (McGrigor, 1992) and Martin Teahen (1986) and Eileen (Coonan, 2006).Peter was a life-long farmer in Blanshard Township and a dedicated family man. His family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Davis, the staff and caregivers at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital and all the support of friends and neighbours.Cremation to take place, with a private family service held at a later date.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital or charity of choice.
