Obituary of Inger Margaret Lemmon

Inger Margaret Lemmon (nee Texel) departed this world peacefully at Highview Residence in Kitchener on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the age of 86.Beloved wife to Charles (Chuck) Lemmon for 48 years before his passing in 2007. Loving mother to Kathrine Lemmon and her husband Scott Smith of Carlisle, Jeffrey Lemmon and his wife Nancy of Waterford and Karen Lemmon and her husband Russel Avant of Wimberley, Texas. Proud grandmother of Maddie (and husband Kyle Doherty), Grace, Ben, Addi (and companion Joaquin) and Everett. Proud great grandmother to Riley and Colin Doherty. Dear sister of Kirsten (Texel) Armstrong.Inger will be remembered always for her love of nature which she displayed both as an artist and an avid gardener. Many benefited from her career devotion to the service of others - first as an airline stewardess and then as an ER/OR nurse.The family extends special thanks to those who supported Inger at a difficult time – all of the staff at Highview Residence and dear friends Ruth and Jack Constable and Marlene and Joe French.Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Community Bible Church, 24294 Adelaide St. N., (at Hwy 7) Lucan on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. Because of limited attendance space due to COVID-19 safety protocols, those wishing to attend please RSVP through the Andrew L.
