Marlene Brown (Sywyk) posted a condolence
I just found out about Jim's passing. I am a cousin. His mother Margaret (Perry) Kitching and my mother Margaret (Perry) Sywyk were first cousins. I remember him talking me into, along with his brother...jumping off their hayloft. I use to take my mom and my grandmother Sarah Jane Perry over to visit his mom and dad on the farm. We did not see them after my mom passed. My condolences to his wife, Brenda. Marlene Brown (Sywyk), Stratford.

The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains….. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. Love you Gramps

That in itself is the true testament of the man you are. Sawyer and I will miss you Gramps

So very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. An amazing Grandpa who would always make time to attend his grandchildren’s events. When Shae attended the Royal Winter Fair he was her biggest fan, just this past summer he came to watch Jada compete at the rodeo. These are memories that will stay with the girls forever! Thanks for being an amazing Grandpa!! He his greatly missed by all of us:)

My condolences to Brenda and to all of their family. Jim was my older cousin and a role model for me. I have many fond memories of our times together as kids. I remember him as a family man with four young children, and then, in his older years, he became the patriarch of a whole clan.
