Obituary of Fern Lavina Hogg

On Sunday, January 12, 2020, Fern Lavina Hogg (Nelson) passed peacefully away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital at the age of 94.She is predeceased by her husband Lorne Cecil Hogg, her parents Alfred and Kate Nelson (Sweeney), her sisters, Shirley Hutton (Reg), Donna Ney (Jim), and Darlene Hinge (Wayne) and her brother Francis (Hannah). Survived by her sister Frieda Barron and her brother-in-law Wayne Hinge.Carrying on for Fern are her daughters Jane Cousineau (Jacques), Carol McArthur (Kim), Marlene Richardson (David Carlberg) and her son Richard. She had eleven grandchildren Jean Paul, Raymond (Jes) Anna (Jeff), James, Cory (Renee), Mark (Erin), Kerri, Jessica (Kevin), Jessica (Jacob), Nicholas (Brooklyn) and Melanie. Fern dearly loved her 23 great-grandchildren.Cremation to take place, family and friends are invited to ST. JAMES ANGLICAN CHURCH, 65 Church St. South, St. Marys, on Saturday January 18, 2020 for visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery at a later date.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Friendship Centre.
