Gayle (Wyatt), sister-in-law; Mike and Laura Campbell )nephew posted a condolence

We would like express heartfelt condolences to our extended family. Aunt Grace, Sister-in-law Grace, was a jovial, kind and busy lady. She was heavily involved in her community, always ready to lend a helping hand and assist others. The oldest sister of three, she was always happy to lead. I am sure the community will miss her almost as much as her family. Guy, Linda, Brenda and Dan know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love much.

I have known Grace my whole life as she was my neighbour on Wyton road and she and Joe lived with my family for a few years in Thorndale. She was always ready to help and usually with a smile. I was very sorry to hear of Grace’s passing. I was in my way to a shower and went through Thorndale on her 80th birthday party. I’m so glad I stopped in, and we had a nice chat. To Guy, Linda, Brenda and Dan and their families, we extend our sympathies. Aunt Grace was a special, unique lady. She always had a hug, a smile and a story every time we met. Never missed sending a Christmas card every year. Even though we were unable to gather frequently over the years, Aunt Grace always made you feel like you just talked to her yesterday. Will always cherish a memory of her coming to my first home and going over the extensive family tree information she had to share. Aunt Grace will be missed. You are all in our thoughts.

Thinking of your family at this time. Grace was a kind lady with a beautiful singing voice. Grace would make you smile, be it in Church or on the street. I always remember her phone calls - no hi or goodbye, but that was her way, short and sweet Her faith in God was felt by all of us that knew her. All of my aunts were and are very special to me. Aunt Grace sent us Christmas cards every year up until 2020. I missed her long long letter about how all the family was doing, never mentioning herself. I have made a donation to the Cancer Society but it was sent on my card from her sister Evelyn through me. Your Aunt Evelyn is in Seaforth Long term Care, very sad today with this news. Take care everyone, all my cousins and their extended families. We will celebrate her life in the spring together. Aunt Grace is at peace with Uncle Joe now.
