Obituary of Mary Violet Elizabeth Scott

Mary Violet Elizabeth Scott (Bull) passed away suddenly at her home in St. Marys on Nov. 8, 2017 at the age of 73. Mother of Lesley and Jeff of Brodhogen, Tammy and Gary of Woodstock, Teresa and Dave of St. Marys, and Michelle and Nick of Lakeside. Grandmother of Daniel, Matthew, Melissa, Amanda, Jasmine and Jade. Sister of Ivan and Randy, Art, Cliff and Deb, Don, and Jim all of Woodstock. Aunt and Great-Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Grant James (1968), partner Bill Knowles (2014), her mother Mary (Abrey) Bull and brothers Ed and Gord. Mary will also be missed by her Jamboree family. She loved her family, gardening, music, dancing and was beginning to learn how to play the guitar.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. S. St. Marys, on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
