Obituary of John Butler

As his formula-One season comes to a close, John Darroch Butler lost a brave battle with Lewy Body Dementia at 73 years.He was the much-loved husband of Sheela (Fetter) for 53 years and the adored father of John “David” (Lee Ann). Dear Gramps to Jordan and Emma with whom he shared many fun-filled adventures. He loved his special girl Kristie. Loving son of Albert “Scotty” and the late Gladys (1993). Fondly remembered by his sisters Linda (Ron), Patricia (Chris) and their families. Dear brother-in-law of Bruce (Sharon), Gary (Lorrie) and Mark and their families.Along with Formula-One, John had many interests with his main one being his family. He always had time for David, watched “Anne of Green Gables (Bagels) more times than needed with “the ladies.” John was an ideal partner and travel companion. Getting lost with John was always great fun. We were grateful to share our lives with this special man.John’s family would like to thank everyone involved in his care over the past years and especially over the last three weeks.
