Nello Antonio Donati passed away at his home in St. Marys on October 8, 2017 at the age of 97.Predeceased by his beloved wife Maria (Pennacchietti), June 20, 1999. Loving father of Ugo and Annemarie, Anna and Mike McMullen, and Tom and Nancy. Proud grandfather of Virginia (Brent), Lisa (Michael), Anthony, Christopher (Angela), Matthew (Brianne), Jennifer (Pat), Stephen (Kim), Michele (Kim), Nicholas (Sara), Christina (Nick), and great-grandfather of Violet, Holly, Wesley, Ethan, Anderson and Blake. Brother of Lorenza, Umberto and predeceased by siblings Gino, Emilio, Bruna, Giuseppe, Guiliana, his parents Tommaso and Anna and infant son Lorenzo.Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, Oct 11, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY NAME OF MARY PARISH, Northeast corner of Widder St. E and Peel St. N., St. Marys, on Thursday, Oct 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Holy Name of Mary Parish or the Canadian Cancer Society.
