The Hodge Family posted a condolence

To all the Batten family, We send our deepest sympathy to each of you. There are many wonderful memories of times shared together. Dad & Mom [Alvin & Flora] always considered your parents to be dear friends. Mom specifically said to mention what a gracious lady Doris was; always so warm & considerate. I [Betty Ann] always enjoyed visiting with her; she was delightful to talk to. We're thankful for their shared experience living at Thames Valley Retirement Community.
